Process/Applications Engineer

The Role
Operational UK Ltd, a leading process design and contracting company, have a vacancy for a Process Engineer based at our Runcorn office.
The role will encompass a wide range of activities ranging from process design work for capital projects, controls, diagnostics, commissioning and ongoing system support.
We regard this vacancy as an opportunity to gain experience working with experienced Chemical and Process Application Engineers.
The Candidate
The successful applicant will be enthusiastic and will possibly have some experience in the process applications in air movement, air pollution, wet scrubbing, flammable substances, thermal processes and energy systems.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Project and AutoCAD LT would be an advantage.
Mcert. accreditation for Emission Testing would be an advantage.
All technical qualifications will be considered, the greater emphasis will be given to the applicants flexibility and resourcefulness.
The candidate must be willing to travel to sites throughout the UK and on occasion to our sister companies in Europe.
Hours
Normally 37.5 Hours per week, however additional hours will be required during site work. 23 days holiday initially rising to 25 days plus 8 bank holidays.
Package
In return the applicant can expect a competitive salary (depending on skills and experience), pension contributions and a company car.
